Family Friendly Content Policy

 

                 Our mysteries and suspense novels are mysterious and suspenseful, but you’ll find no gratuitous violence.  Our romances are tenderly romantic but you won’t have to worry about XXX content.  Our books for children and teens are wholesome, but they don’t shy away from the topics that are of primary concern to those ages. Our self-improvement  books and parenting books are sound, practical and authoritative.  Our humor is lots of fun and dependably clean.

                 We believe in the basic goodness of man, in the usefulness of positive values and in the absolute necessity for all of us to, daily, take good care of one another.  Though not denying man’s darker side, our publications proclaim and model the power and value of love, compassion and mutual helpfulness.

DAVID DRAKE *

     The author has been writing novels for young people all his life and they now number into the dozens.  With a background in psychology and education and a penchant for taking in long-term foster children, he has a wealth of experience on which to base his stories.

      All of David Drake’s stories model a positive social philosophy and conform to the Family Friendly Content policy** of the Family of Man Press.

      It is reported that he spent the summer of his ninth year ‘flying’ throughout his neighborhood, a red bath towel tied around his neck, doing battle with all sorts of evil bad guys (at least until supper time!).

      Perhaps that is one reason he truly enjoys writing about TOMMY POWERS.  (Now, if we could just get him  out of that tattered, old, red bath towel!)
